Symptom
If you try to print on IE8 from the browser's Print command in File menu or the Plug-in's print toolbar button, the plug-in reports an error with a message, "An error occurred during this operation.", and your print operation fails.
Details
There were significant changes in IE8 regarding process and window handling, so DjVu Browser Plug-in 6.1 can capture the print command correctly.
Status
This problem has been improved in the latest 6.1.4. You can download the latest version from here.
Important Notice
Even though you print by clicking IE8's print toolbar button using the latest module above, your print operation will not process correctly and just an empty page will be output. Your print operation will not fail as long as you are printing from :
- IE's print menu command in File menu
- Plug-in's print toolbar button
- Plug-in's print context menu
We are investigating this problem now. We will report here as soon as we find a fix for this problem.
